About eufy

eufy, Anker's smart home brand, came to robot mowers with a simple promise: cameras instead of wires or satellite antennas. In the US, eufy's store currently sells one model, the E15. It is the easiest mower we cover to set up, but it is also the most limited, and eufy is unusually clear about those limits on its product page.

Who it suits

Small, flat lawns with fine grass, where you want to switch it on and forget about installation. eufy itself rules out St. Augustine and dense Zoysia grass, grass over 3.5 inches and bumpy ground.

What reviewers found

Reviewers praise the setup and obstacle avoidance, but report the mower getting stuck and needing to be moved, slipping on damp grass, struggling in tall fescue and not mowing after dark, since cameras need light. Read the full eufy E15 review.

eufy questions

Does the eufy E15 need RTK or a boundary wire?

No. It finds its way with cameras only ("pure vision"), so there is no wire, no RTK station and no antenna to install.

What lawns is the eufy E15 not suitable for?

eufy lists the limits itself: lawns larger than 0.2 acre, slopes over 18°, grass taller than 3.5 inches, bumps over 1.2 inches, and St. Augustine or dense Zoysia grass.
