Dreame moved from robot vacuums into robot mowers with the A3 AWD series. Both versions use the same idea: a 360° 3D LiDAR scanner plus two cameras ("OmniSense 3.0") to map the yard on their own, with no boundary wire and no RTK station, on an all-wheel-drive chassis rated for 80% slopes.

Strengths and weak points
The hardware is strong for the money: AWD for 80% slopes, LiDAR that works under trees, cutting height set in the app and frequent big discounts. But Dreame does not publish runtime, charging time or warranty on these product pages, and owners report that the software is still maturing, with lost positions and maps that fail to save. Owners of the Pro also report LiDAR overheating shutdowns in hot weather, and one hands-on review saw ruts on tight turns in wet ground.
